Largest Christmas Show in Wisconsin to Open Nov. 1 in the Wisconsin Dells – “Christmas in the Dells Dinner Show”

Wisconsin Dells, Wis., Aug. 23, 2023, – The all new “Christmas in the Dells Dinner Show” in the Wisconsin Dells, Wis., will open Wednesday, Nov. 1. The show is produced by Legacy Entertainment Group. The festive dinner show will be the largest Christmas show in Wisconsin, according to David Fee, president of Legacy Entertainment Group and new owner of the theater, formerly known as the Palace Theater. Fee said, “Our Christmas show is guaranteed to put the holiday spirit into anyone and everyone. We hope guests will come back year after year, creating new Christmas memories and traditions with their families in this hugely popular vacation destination.

“Our dinner show will have a large cast of 22 people including some of the country’s top musicians, singers, dancers, and variety acts, whose exceptional talents will all blend onstage to deliver the magic of Christmas,” Fee said. “We will also have a spectacular adage dance couple, some extraordinary ice skaters and a seven-piece live orchestra.”

The show will include a four-course Christmas dinner feast featuring: tender roasted turkey, honey glazed ham, yummy mashed potatoes, buttery corn on the cob, cheesy macaroni and cheese, tangy cranberry fruit salad, hot fresh bread, seasoned green beans, creamy vegetable soup, and a choice of homemade pumpkin pie or a decadent cholate brownie. The meal will also include tea, water, or lemonade. Soft drinks, coffee and alcoholic beverages will be available for an additional charge.

“The first half of our ‘Christmas in the Dells Dinner Show’ will feature sounds of the season with all of the Christmas favorites,” Fee said. “A highlight of our show will include a visit to the North Pole and Santa’s workshop where toys will come to life. You will see toy soldiers, sugarplum fairies and all of your childhood favorite toys. This magical North Pole visit will also feature snow that falls inside the theater, miniature elves and even a jolly visit from Santa Claus himself,”

Throughout the show, both new and old beloved Christmas music will fill the air with a rich-and-brassy orchestral sound. “The second half of our show will feature Wisconsin’s most spectacular live nativity that will focus attention on the birth of Christ and the true meaning of Christmas,” he said. “We always want to remind our audiences of exactly why we celebrate Christmas so the Nativity and the glory and splendor of the birth of Christ is the most important portion of our show.

“We hope to capture the spirit and excitement of the holiday season,” Fee said. “For an extra charge children may visit with Santa and have their picture taken with him in the lobby of the theater during intermission. You will get a magical special picture of your kids that is sure to become a cherished keepsake as they tell Santa what they want for Christmas.”

The theater property itself will become an enchanted wonderland with a huge display of twinkling lights in the form of multiple tree displays and lights that blanket the façade of the theater itself. “We want to add a little sparkle to the area, so the whole property will be dancing with Christmas lights,” Fee said. “We will provide an evening filled with fantastic food, holiday songs, dance and laughter. We want this to be a place where families start traditions and memories, and we hope tourists and visitors will continue to return to the Wisconsin Dells year after year. This Christmas dinner show will absolutely delight the whole family – everyone from the ages of 2 to 102. It will be a popular show with dinner and we will fill up fast, so we ask people to make their reservations early. Tickets are on sale now.”

The Christmas dinner show will be performed this season in the afternoon matinee slot at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday and Sunday and nightly at 7:00 p.m. except for Mondays. Doors will open for seating and dinner service beginning one hour prior to show time. Tickets for the Christmas show are $79.95 plus tax each and children 11 and under are $49.95 plus tax.
